Present Sloths are the slowest mammals on Earth. Sloths have claws that are strong to help them hang on branches. Sloths also have algae, moss, moths, and other insects on their fur. The algae and moss helps the sloth blend in with branches so predators can’t spot them. Sloths live in tropical rainforests. Future Sloths are still alive and doing well, but because of global warming. Glaciers are melting, and sea levels are rising. Sloths can’t swim, so they have grown wings. They’re wings only glide. Also sloths are omnivore because they had to adapt to their new environment, which doesn’t have that many trees. Sloths glide over the waters to catch fish and other vegetation with their sharp claws. Sloths are doing great. They’ve survived for thousands of years.
