This is the African forest elephant. The African forest elephant lives in the Congo rainforest. The African forest elephant is a herbivore and mostly eats grass. The forest elephant lives on the ground. It is 5 tons and 10 feet and it is very big. When they are babies they cannot use their trunk . Male elephants go away but Women stay. Babies stay in mom for 22 months. In the future this is the African big eared elephant. It has gigantic ears so they can fan themselves. It has a very sharp tusk. The women elephants stay with the herd while male elephants show off to the women elephants. They live in the savanna. They are 1 ton and 6 feet and pretty small. They got smaller because there is less food for them to eat due to climate change.
