The tropical forest animal I picked is the neon tetra fish. The tetra fish is vertebrate so that means it has a spine. I picked the neon tetra fish because I like neon colors. The neon tetra are freshwater fish of the characiformes. The neon tetra fish is 1.5 inches (4 centimeters) long and that’s the adult size. The tetra fish does not harm anyone and it’s also rare to find. The neon tetra fish only lives up to ten years long. The normal lifespan is 5 to 8 years. When the tetra fish is fully or almost fully adapted it could go invisible to its predators by changing their colors to blend in. The neon tetra fish could also stop glowing or losing their colors when it is resting.
