Sumatran Elephant

Sumatran elephants are herbivores. They need at least 150 kg of fruit, grass, and leaves a day. They need to live near water because they get thirsty at least once a day. The Sumatran elephant lives only in Sumatra in Indonesia. In conclusion, they are critically endangered species that need protection. The Sumatran elephant needs these adaptions to survive. The Sumatran elephant needs an increase in size because if a predator or an apex predator comes between it might die so it needs an increase in size. The Sumatran elephant needs to change color like a chameleon because they're critically endangered. The Sumatran elephant needs to be faster because predators will attack from behind it might be killed or injured. The Sumatran elephant needs a longer trunk because the lower leaves might burn during a wildfire if it survives. In conclusion, this is why it needs these adaptations.
