Present: Milk frogs are commonly called the ‘Amazon Milk Frog. You can find a milk frog in the Amazon Basins. Milk frogs live in the tropical rainforest, up in the canopy. Milk frogs aren’t as poisonous as other frogs. Although milk frogs can be poisonous to their predator, they aren’t poisonous to humans. This poison is an adaptation that the frog has to scare predators off. They also have long legs to help them jump from branch to branch. Future: Since the milk frog skin is very sensitive, if the sea level starts to rise, the milk frogs may drown and die. The milk frog has to adapt to be able to swim so they might grow a thicker layer of skin. They would also have to grow gills or fins. In the water they would probably have to eat sea pickles.
