Electric Eel Adaptations Essay

The Electric Eel/Electrophorus Electricus currently has a grey-ish type of color and lives in freshwater in the Amazons Rainforest. My adaptation would be for it to become more of an Electric Snowy type of Eel. The habitat would still be very rainy, but it would be colder and it would almost always have snow and the sun would be covered by thick grey clouds. The Eel would grow grey-white fur and still be electric, however the fur would protect it from the severe cold weather. In the summer solstice it would shed all of its fur and adapt to the warmer season. In the summer the habitat would become pretty dry and really hot. Once the summer ends it would grow back its needed soft but rough fur and start a cool and icy fall.
