Present animal The king cobra is the largest venomous snake alive. A cobra spreads its hoods to scare its predators. They live in deserts and rainforests. A snake’s jaw can break apart into 3 different directions, so it can swallow its prey whole. To kill their prey, the cobra squeezes the animal until it is dead. This is a behavioral adaptation. Future Animal The climate is changing and it’s getting hotter and that means less rain. The cobras have to live in a cave. It is a cooler place for a snake to live in. Some snakes can blend in with the withered trees and some with the grass. It's hard for them to camouflage because everything has withered because of the sun. The cobra also gets a rattler tail so predators can BACK OFF. It has better eyesight so he can look out for predators.
