The mother and father frogs lay eggs by mating. They can either lay them in water or on leaves sometimes. Once the frog hatches it becomes a larva or a tadpole if in water. The Tadpole starts to grow legs. Then it starts to lose its tail time by time. After it loses its tail, it starts to become an adult. A fact is that a frog can hold its breath four to seven hours underwater. Frogs breathe through their skin. A frog's powerful hind legs help it jump really far. The frog’s flat skull helps with the frog’s streamline for swimming. Some frogs have really small waists. Frogs have no neck, just their head attached to their body. That is the frog’s adaptation from egg to larva, tadpole, losing tail, growing legs,to becoming an adult and cycle.
