Red eyed tree frogs live in rainforests in southern Mexico and Central America. Their green colors help them blend in with trees. In the future, its rainforest habitat will turn into a savannah. It will rain less because of global warming. If it rains less, the trees will not survive, and the land will be grass. Savannahs are yellow, so the green frog will turn yellow to blend in with its surroundings. There are fewer trees to hide in in a savannah so I think they will become burrowing frogs. They will have non webbed back feet to help them dig. The frog will have thicker skin to help hold in water because it is dry. A red eyed tree frog is not as well hidden in a savannah, so it will have spikes for protection. They will become omnivores because there are less bugs to eat in a savanna.
