Two Toed Sloths that are native to the rainforests of South America, live in the Canopy Layer. In future years in order to adapt to their ever changing environment they may not live in the canopy layer. I believe that they may move from living solely in the canopy layer besides times when they must go to the bathroom, they may move to living between the forest floor and the canopy layer. Another adaptation that sloths may undergo over the next few years is becoming faster on the ground. Sloths are extremely slow and if they become faster than they can outrun predators. This could help sloths live for a longer period of time by being less susceptible to being attacked. Also as of right now sloths have longer fur, shorter fur could help sloths to not overheat but still blend in.
