Giant Panda

I believe Giant Panda’s are not going to be alive in 1,000 years, because there are currently 1,864 pandas left in the world. There are only that many panda’s in the world because people in China are cutting down trees and are taking panda’s habitats. What panda’s currently look like is that they have a distinctive black and white coat, with black fur around their eyes, ears, muzzle, legs , and shoulders. Their big coat helps them stay warm in their cold mountain homes. My prediction is that pandas will go extinct. Why I think panda’s will be extinct is because of climate change. Panda’s are already endangered but the climate change is just making things worse for them. How climate change is making things worse for pandas is that it is decreasing their gene flow which is causing a reduction in the population.
