The Mottled Cub Tamarin

After years of temperature increase and changing climate, the former rainforest habitat has become a savannah plain. Due to this, the former Golden Lion Tamarin has lost its magnificent mane and orange fur, and now is a mottled brown color to better camouflage with the bark of the remaining trees and the grasses of the savannah. In addition to this, its tail has shortened, being better for balance while walking over ground.
