I’m predicting that in 500 years the red eyed tree frog will become extinct. The red eyed tree frog is currently endangered due to loss of habitat. It’s habitat is the rainforests of Mexico and Central America and people are rapidly cutting them down. Climate change also affects them because they are ectotherms, meaning their body temperature is regulated by the environment and the temperature is increasing. Also, chytrid fungus, a disease that broke out affected amphibians greatly.
