Caiman

In 300 hundred years rain forests will be turned into a savanna-type ecosystem. Rain forests all over the world will change, so that means that the caiman will also change. Over time the caiman will change because there will not be a lot of water to live in anymore. The caiman will grow longer legs and have a shorter tail and snout. It will also be able to change colors to blend in with its new environment. It will also grow claws and be able to run so it can catch its prey which will most likely be small mammals and birds. There are only about 50,000 left so there is not a strong chance that they will not survive. Due to pollution in the waters of the rain forest and how quickly it is getting destroyed they may not be able to adapt to their new environment in time.
