In 500 years the Jaguar will change by color and size. They will become smaller and their fur will change color from orange to green. Jaguar’s will have more spots on their body and grow longer claws. The jaguar will have less access to resources such as water, food, and shelter. For food jaguars eat monkeys, birds, fish, armadillos, and iguana’s. How a jaguar hunts its prey is by leaping out of water or jumping out of a tree. They live near lakes, rivers, and wetlands. Other facts about jaguars are they usually weigh 124 to 211 pounds and the male jaguars are larger than female jaguars. Jaguars can live up to 11 to 15 years.
