Scientists say in 500 years, the rain forest will die. If the Amazon rain forest does burn out, there will be an increase in CO2. Spider Monkeys live in the tropical rain forest where all food is in one place. In the future there will be fewer monkeys, and if you happen to find one, they will most likely be very skinny with less fur. There are about 2500 spider monkeys left in the world. Spider Monkeys live in trees, and if all the trees are cut down or burned down, not only will there be minimum oxygen, but the spider monkeys will have to adapt to ground. Spider monkeys would have to find bushes to live in and eat seeds from flowers. Spider Monkeys will have a shorter lifespan. The rain forest will most likely be completely destroyed, so will spider monkeys if they don’t find a new habitat.
