The Brown-throated three-toed sloth lives in most tropical forests. They eat leaves, twigs, and fruits. Sloths are among the slowest animals on Earth. This makes them easy prey. If sloths are to survive in the changing world, they will have to live on the ground or underground because there will be fewer trees. My guess is that they will live in an underground burrow. If the sloth will live in an underground burrow, they will need to adapt to their surroundings by growing longer claws and sharp horns to bump into predators. The sloth will need to develop speed and agility in order to catch limited food resources. Stronger limbs and a good sense of smell will help them to escape from predators and can also catch food. The sloth will need to blend into the mud or the ground of the rainforest, so it will be browner.
