For my future animals, I chose the bearded Emperor Tamarins. Currently, the bearded Emperor Tamarins aren’t endangered but due to construction happening in their habitats, it may affect them later on. They’re also affected by the illegal pet trade. They run and jump around in trees since they’re lightweight. They usually live in groups with 2-8 individuals and have a lifespan of 18 years. Emperor Tamarins are omnivores and live off plants, insects, bird eggs and others. I believe they would lose more fur on their face, mostly around the facial features. Since they are very lightweight, I think they would learn to walk on their toes instead. They would learn to use their tail to be beneficial like picking up items.
