MERI WOLF

The animal I chose is the Coastal Wolf from the coast of the Great Bear Rainforest. They live on land but love swimming and fishing. However, with climate change causing rising water level they might be forced to live under the waves. But to live underwater they would need to adapt to be able to breathe underwater and swim easily. For my future animal I select the name Meriwolf, and they have a clear second eyelid, to keep water out but still be able to see. Their ears can go back and down to keep the water from getting inside. They are better swimmers now, and they have a longer waterproof coat. They can stay underwater for longer and have webbed paws and thin fins. My meriwolves would live in underwater caves and the surface. Those are my animal adaptations.
