I chose the Jaguar for my research. Jaguars live in the understory layer of the rainforest, the Jaguar hunts with its big teeth and nasty bite. They eat anything they can get their paws on. Jaguars are excellent swimmers and have the most powerful bite out of any other cat. Their only predators are humans. When they reproduce the male impregnates the female and the female gives birth to 1-4 cubs. After the rainforests have been cut down I think that the Jaguars will be able to get bigger and more powerful because they are not stuck in dense rainforests and can actually move around quickly. I think in the future when the rainforests are gone Jaguars will have to live in the savanna where the rainforests used to be and will most likely have a high probability of survival because they can see their prey easily.
