Capybara Present and Future

The capybaras diet is eating grasses and fruits and water plants. They live near lakes, rivers and streams. They are 4 ft long and can weigh 100 pounds. They have webbed toes which makes them a strong swimmer. They can hide in the water by holding their noses above and submerging the rest of their bodies below. Say the year is 7021 and the world gets hotter. The capybara needs new adaptations because of global warming. Its home turns into a savanna. It will need to lose some fur and it will need sharper claws so it can dig a burrow to sleep in. It will need to eat ants and termites. Its predators would be lions and cheetahs.
