Snow Leopard Adaptations

Snow leopards are very hairy, so they can keep warm! However, because climate change causes temperatures to go up, snow leopards would need to lose some of their hair, or else they will overheat and die. They also may need to shorten their tail. Additionally, change the color of their skin, for better camouflage. Lastly, the snow leopard may need to increase its senses so it can have the ability to hunt down larger and smarter prey. This may require it to change its diet and become an omnivore so that it can be able to eat wild fruits. The snow leopards’ current habitat is the antithesis of what will be if climate change continues for another century or two. Therefore, the snow leopard will need to change much of its countenance to sustain itself.
