Orangutaned!

The Orangutans live in the emergent layer of the rain forest. They swing from trees and mostly eat fruit. Orangutans have thick orange-reddish fur. The fur is actually to help them camouflage with the rain forest plants. Apart from their large size, they are very hard to spot moving through tree to tree. My idea for them to survive is that the orangutan will turn into more of a carnivore than an herbivore. It will be very aggressive and start fighting for food. The teeth will change to be very sharp. They will not climb as many trees and they will have very strong legs to walk fast. They will grow a little bigger and it will be called the Killer Orangutan. Their diet will include most animals smaller than them such as rodents, ocelots, capybaras. From time to time they will also eat little bits of fruit.
