In the future I think the golden dart frog will need to adapt to living in the desert because of the climate change. Here’s what I think the adaptations will be. It will need to have closing nostrils to keep sand out of its nose and wider feet so it won't sink in the sand. It will also have to retain water by burrowing into moist soil during the dry daylight hours. It will need to hunt and take the moisture from its food. It will have to camouflage with the desert and change color to a light brown color. It will have to learn how to get water from cacti and other succulent plants. It will have to develop kidneys to extract most of the water from their urine and return it to the bloodstream to reduce water wastage.
