The animal I have chosen for this competition is the amazon river dolphin. The amazon river dolphin currently lives in water and has pink skin. Their pointed beak and flexible neck helps them catch prey and fit in small spaces. Their dorsal fin helps them make sharp turns and movements in the water, and their fins help it swim underwater. Due to climate change, the rainforest will turn into a forest with shallow waters. Amazon river dolphins will need to go on land, so they will eat turtles and crabs instead of fish. The dolphins will still go in water, which is why they have webbed feet and 1 tail fin. To live on land, they will need to have rougher and darker skin to better camouflage. Their neck will be less flexible and their beak will be shorter because they don’t have to fit into cramped spaces on land.
