Toucans Adapting

The toucan is a very colorful bird but if things keep going the way they are, it might not be an existing colorful bird. In order for the toucan to survive it will have to adapt to extreme heat. They could adapt by getting shorter and thinner feathers so they do not burn up and die. They could also need to adapt to fewer trees. With no trees they will not be able to rest as much because of predators on the ground, and it will not be able to land. They will have to get used to there not being a canopy level so it will not be high in the sky because it will have to land on the ground. Toucans are safe for now while eating fruits and figs. Also, toucans beaks are so big because they use them to protect themselves against smaller predators.
