In present day, the Tarantula develops a lighter and thinner body than their Terrestrial relative. Tarantulas have hairs on their stomach that have sharp little barbs on them. The spider will shoot them at their predator. Tarantulas eat insects, though some species enjoy larger insects/animals. These are the ways tarantulas adapt in the present day. In the future, the tarantula will have to develop many new adaptations. They will have to develop gills to breathe in water. Tarantulas will have to develop a stronger bite underwater and have deadly poison. They will also have to shoot ink like an octopus. The tarantula will have to generate bigger stomachs and will have to adapt to eating bigger foods like bigger insects and eating sea animals. Tarantulas will also have to generate fins to swim underwater. These are the ways tarantulas might adapt in the future.
