Sloths live in the tropical rain forest. They go in trees for protection from predators and provide the trees for shelter. Sloths are so slow that algae grows on them so that they have camouflage. Sloths spend a majority of their time up in the canopy, coming down only one time per week to relieve themselves. The trees provide natural protection from predators such as jaguars and eagles; it's safer for sloths to remain motionless and camouflaged off the ground. Sloths eat leaves, twigs, and bugs. In the future, the tropical rain forest will be underwater from the rising sea levels. Ellen will live underwater and they need to have webbed feet and gills for the Ellen to breathe and see underwater. Ellen eats fish and other sea creatures. Ellen is called that name because it means bright. That is how Ellen will survive global warming.
