The scientific name for the Crocodile is Crocodylinae, and it lives in places that are rivers, lakes, and dams. If they run out of water they would also be able to walk on land with an incredible speed of 15 mph to 22 mph which can outrun most people who are trying to run away from it. They are able to weigh about 2,000 pounds ( 900 kilograms), and have a body that is covered with bony plates that cover their skin, and would protect them from animals, and sun . If they were living on land they might get faster because they could be hunting for more prey. Living in the sun can affect how their skin color looks because they would spend more time on land and most likely turn orange and can help other animals see them. They would decrease the population of most meat animals too.
