Imagine this; ponds, lakes, and other natural habitats destroyed. What's left is polluted. How could piranhas adapt to this? Walking Piranhas now have smaller eyes. That's because the water got so polluted with oil, gasoline, trash, and more that their eyesight started getting worse, but their sense of smell got better. That way they can smell the little animals that are left around. Walking Piranhas also got two new fins, kind of like feet. This is so when an animal passes by, Walking Piranhas can swim faster to prey, using the fins as swimming slippers! And something to help them prey is their bigger teeth. Since food is now rare and most fishes die because of all the pollution in the water, a piranha resorts to whatever it can eat, including bigger prey.
