Scarlet macaws live in tropical rainforests in the canopy of trees. They have red bodies with blue and yellow wings. They eat berries, nuts, unripe fruits, and insects. Scarlet macaws use nests as homes for young. But they will need to adapt to their new habitat, the desert. To live in the desert, scarlet macaws would have blue bodies with light green and yellow wings. They would feast on nuts, plants, and other things. These “desert birds” would become prey and predator, but could use caves as protection from harm.
