Jaguars used to live in a rainforest with many trees of different species. It rained so much and there were many different species of animals. Jaguars used to eat all different types of things like fish, turtles, caiman, and deer. But their favorites were peccaries and capybaras. They used to be able to camouflage with the spots that they have. One decade passed, and everything was gone, shortage of water, trees were gone, dried up. The rainforest turned into grassland with yellow shrubs and bushes. No more of the big leaves. There are no more animals like Peccaries and Capybaras. The Alain had to adapt and to do that they got fewer spots now because they don't need them to camouflage into the trees. They learned to eat grass and leaves with sharp front teeth. Alain adapted to no more climbing trees so they have shorter claws now.
