Toucans diet is most berries but they also eat lizards, rodents, and small birds. The toucans vivid colors provide camouflage in the rainforest. The toucans beak can help them not over heat. In the future sixty percent of the rainforest might be dry savanna with less trees and less berries to eat. Toucans might adapt to this by getting longer and narrow beaks to help them catch more insects, and there main diet would be insects. They could be nocturnal to stay cooler. If they were nocturnal they would get bigger eyes to see better in the dark. They would also get not as colorful beaks and feathers, because they would not have to blend in with fruit trees.
