The jaguar now lives the rainforest, which will become savanna because trees cannot sustain hot weather. Jaguars’ adaptation includes: (A) Camouflage and self-protection, (B) Hunting skills, and (C) Daily life habits. The spots on their body will fade into stripes to help them blend in with the tall tan grasses. The fur color will change to tan, making them harder to be spotted. They will have longer legs for more agility, making them efficient hunters. They will also have a longer tail for running without tipping over and black patches around the eyes to see through the sun’s glare. The jaguars will hunt at night because during the day their habitat is very hot. Their diet will change to savanna animals, which are larger than rainforest animals. Their diet includes wildebeests, gazelles, antelopes, ostriches, and elephants.
