The Times of the Sloth

Sloths are cute and calm creatures that love the trees. But as you probably know, the trees in the rainforest are getting cut down. I researched sloths to learn more about them, including how they adapt to live in other places in the future. Also, their diets present day and how they will change over time. Since all the trees will be gone, they will have to live on the ground like in the past. Like the ground sloths, they will have to grow bigger to survive. They have to get stronger and quite a bit faster too. As the rain forests turn into deserts, sloths will have to find another food source like bushes and flowers. To stay a vegetarian, they would have to eat the few plants and buds in the desert. Since they are still slow creatures, they would have to have shells as protection or camouflage.
