Tiny Digging Tapirs

Tapirs are endangered and they will be completely extinct soon. There are five things I would do to help them. First I would make their pregnancy shorter because they have a 14 month pregnancy. And that is with only having one baby. If I could, I would make their pregnancy shorter and result in more than one baby. Secondly, humans are taking away their habitat by using wood to build houses and everything else that contains wood. Therefore, I would relocate them underground and shrink their size and give them claws so they can dig. I would also change their fur color to blend in with the dirt so it is harder for hunters to find them. Finally, I would make them skinnier so they can run faster and give them a longer tail to help their balance. This is how I would help Tapirs live in the future.
