The African Gray Parrot is a vertebrae and can be located in Congo forests just east of the Albertine Rift in Uganda, Kenya, and Tanzania - central Africa. These parrots have been undergoing a loss of population decline throughout the past 50 years. They have become endangered due to both legal and illegal harvest for domestic and international pet trade as well as habitat loss. In my first drawing, I drew a healthy environment, such as an inland type forest which is a normal habitat for the African Grey Parrots. There are a healthy amount of parrots as well as a good amount of trees for oxygen and growing grass with their habitat undisturbed. In my second drawing, it is showcased how the population of African Gray Parrots decreased due to harvest and pet trade. Also showing how the inland forest became a Savannah because of deforestation happening to them.
