Sun Bears

My animal is a sun bear. They are very shy animals and can be tamed by humans. They live in Southern Asia. Their climate is hot and humid, but they are safe because they have a thick layer of skin which will protect them from any sticks, twigs, and heavy rain in the rainforest. People still kill Sun bears although it is illegal. The law is not a big deal and that's why their population isn't high. Their population only has less than one thousand Sun bears. I would hate to lose the sun bear population. The Sun bears are also being hunted for traditional medicine. Sun bears are very intelligent animals. They actually can communicate through facial expressions. I don't believe Sun bears will still be alive in 1000 years. Scientists believe that southern asian rainforests will go extinct in the next 10 years.
