The Short Eared Dog

The short-eared dog lives in the Amazon rainforest. It is brown and looks like a wolf. Much like its name, the short-eared dog´s ears are usually short. Short-eared dogs are really rare. They eat fish, insects, and small mammals. If the rainforest’s sea levels rise, then the short-eared dog might become an underwater animal. Then if the short-eared dog becomes an underwater animal, it could have webbed legs. To match the smoggy environment, the short-eared dog`s fur might get darker. Its fur should get shorter too, so it won't be as hot. Even then, the short-eared dog might have trouble adapting to the new, hot, and dry environment. If it starts living underwater, the short-eared dog might have to change its diet to only fish. If the fish don´t also adapt, the short-eared dog will not survive because it will have no food.
