Flamingoes are a type of wading bird in the family Phoenicopteridae. The habitat for Flamingos is very diverse, they live in waters that are alkaline in nature. These birds are suffering from ingestion of plastics and getting deep cuts inside them. Plastic can accumulate in animals' stomachs, making them feel full, stopping them from eating and resulting in starvation. Many animals are not able to choose the food from plastic and they are getting confused with color, smell, shape, texture of plastic. Flamingoes should evolve in such a way that they can distinguish plastic from food. If at all they eat plastic by accident, my future Flamingo should evolve by having a strong digestive system that can easily digest the plastic without harming itself.
