Jaguars living in the rainforest are good hunters. They use their fur to camouflage into the rainforest. They are good swimmers so they could catch fish and other foods in the water. The foods that they eat in the rainforest are from the water and on the land too. After 1,000 years they will probably not need to swim because they will live in a desert where there will not be a lot of water. They will change their fur color to tanner with no dots to camouflage in with the sand. I also think that they might need more speed in the desert as it will be different from hiding in the trees and then attacking their prey in the rainforest. They will probably have thinner skin because of the heat of the desert. That is what I think will happen in 1,000 years to jaguars.
