I think after a thousand years, the toucan will be very different. First of all, the rainforest will probably be more like a desert with few trees, so toucans will need to adapt with stronger legs, larger beaks, and stronger talons. They will also need to conserve water like camels because they might go days without it. They would have a small hump to conserve water. Doing this will help them live extended periods of time, such as 3 days without drinking water. Finally, Toucans will need a new home because their trees will be gone. They might use their beaks to dig holes, or find caves. That is how I think the toucan will adapt to climate change.
