Currently, the Red-eyed Tree frog is brightly colored and lives in rainforests. In the future this frog may live in a mixed woodland habitat. New adaptations would be useful in this new habitat. Some would be wide, webbed feet with claws. These could be useful for digging shelters as well as finding water and insects in the ground. The frog would also need tougher skin that requires less moisture. Because there would be less water available, the frog would have a pouch on its back for water, like a camel. In order to attract more prey, like insects, the frog would have bright purple eyes, which look similar to wildflowers.
