Because of climate change, there is not going to be as much land, so the Mata Mata will adapt so that it is a lot better in water than on land. It will have extra fingers and toes on its webbed feet to get more boost while swimming. The Mata Mata will also adapt it’s shell. It will have joints to be able to turn and bend and be lighter and smaller to zip through water because there won’t be as much land. It’s body will also be thinner so that it can maneuver efficiently. Lastly, this animal will have small, sharp spikes for protection.
