Creature Blue Morpho Butterfly

My vertebrate is the Blue Morpho Butterfly. They live in the rainforests of Latin America from Mexico to Colombia. When the Blue Morpho folds its wings up over their bodies the obvious eyespotsand brownish coloring are visible,not the iridescent blue. This structural adaptation deters animals that may threaten the butterfly. Their environment is forest floor and the lower shrubs of the trees. They fly through all layers of the forest. I think in the future blue Morpho Butterflies are on the verge of being classified as an endangered species.
