And if the iguana scratches you with its claws, it will let out a venom that is kept in its arms and be very deadly. This helps it protect itself from predators. It has darkened in color and has more brown because the area where it lives has gotten darker because there are less trees. This helps it camouflage better. The animals that are the iguana’s prey have gotten larger to adapt to climate change so the iguana got larger as well to be able to kill its prey.
