Babirusas live in rainforests in Indonesia. Rainforests today are very hot. Years from now, rainforests will be a lot hotter. This is because of global warming. A babirusa takes cold water, and the water will seep through its skin when it gets to its stomach. Also, heat can lead to hunger. Animals will target babirusas because they are big and could give an animal a good meal. So, a babirusa will have more horns on its head and some on its back. Drawing Explanation The adaptation drawing shows that the babirusa has horns on his back for protection. The little dots represent the holes that the water seeps through to keep it cool.
