The Jaguar has many adaptations that help it survive now and in the future. Jaguars live deep in the lush rainforests of Central America. The Jaguars like no other cat in the world are excellent swimmers and love to swim and bathe in the water. They also have a long sturdy tail that helps them climb all trees every shape and size. In a thousand years I predict that the Jaguars natural habitat will flood. If this happens they will need webbed paws to help them propel through the water and catch their prey easily and quickly. Also I predict that they will keep their dusty fur color, but they won't have spots anymore. Lastly they could shed some fur and grow scales in specific places like their belly, and their hind legs so that they dry off faster. All of these abilities will help it survive in the future.
