The axolotl is an endangered species with special features which make them one of the most interesting amphibians. For starters, they are only found in the waters of Mexico. Also, like salamanders, they can regrow limbs. But most importantly, they are very cute. However, these cute creatures will rather go extinct or deal with the drastic effects of climate change. In the future, waters will rise to unimaginable heights and become contaminated. Because of this, axolotls will become land animals, but they will still be able to swim to catch prey. When swimming, they will have to have lots of airtime to prevent contamination, so they will have to grow wings to swim like flying fish. Windstorms will happen often because of climate change as well. Axolotls will need strong arms to burrow before storms. This is only if axolotls even make it past a thousand years.
