Rainforests will be in an even worse state than they are right now due to climate change and deforestation, puting many ecosystems and species at risk. However, I believe that the species of gorilla will still be in a survivable state. They have a lot of tolerant features to changing climate such as already being exposed to fairly high temperatures and feed on an abundant amount of food. Gorillas live in the lowland tropical rainforests of Central Africa so their habitat won't be as affected.. Their main food sources are things like stems, bamboo shoots, and fruits. Deforestation will make resources limited, so they would have to switch to things like termites and ants. Their skin would be a lot more grey due to the amount of heat in the future. All in all, I believe that gorillas would be able to survive climate change for the next 500 years.
